# Understand LED light signals

The three LED lights on your Lunar System provide key insights into its performance, including on-grid/off-grid status, battery levels, and system health. Refer to the guide below to understand each light.

##### ‍ **On-grid operation**  
All three LEDs pulse white, with the light moving sequentially towards the right. This means that your system is actively connected and operating normally.

##### ‍ **Off-grid operation**  
All three LEDs pulse blue, with the light moving sequentially to the right. This indicates that the system is supplying power independently from the grid. This can occur during a power outage or when the system is intentionally set to operate off-grid.

##### Fault conditions  
If one or more of the LEDs is orange, your Lunar System may be experiencing a fault. Please contact your installer for assistance.
